All product warranties declared at the time of sale are essentially warranties provided by the product manufacturer. That is, the warranty service of the sold product is mainly carried by the parent company of the particular brand. Each brand is different in terms of warranty service and their terms and conditions are mentioned on their official website. In this regard, the subsidiary Star Tech is acting as a means of enforcing the warranty service terms of the original brand companies.
Know Before Taking Warranty Service:
1. Sardar Tech is a retail outlet. They do not manufacture any kind of goods. Therefore, Sardar Tech sends the warranty claim product directly to the supplier or manufacturer on behalf of the customer. We follow international (product-wise), domestic, and Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) guidelines for warranty.
2. A product purchase receipt or proof of product purchase must be presented while making a product warranty claim, otherwise, the warranty claim will not be accepted.
3. The warranty completion period may vary based on product availability and availability.
4. Devices with bodies made of glass or metal may seem to overheat as the heat sensitivity is higher than that of devices with plastic bodies, but there is nothing to worry about. The above issues are common issues and these issues do not indicate a faulty device. Don’t worry if the mentioned issues occur just follow the general rules below and these issues will be fixed with use.
5. In the case of purchasing products from the shop, you must check and buy in front of the salesperson at the shop. Later problems will not be covered by our warranty guarantee.
6. Defective products are exchangeable from our shop. In this case, our experts will observe the defect in the product and take steps to change it.
7. If you want to change the product in such a situation, it will not be acceptable after taking the product from the shop.
8. After returning the product due to specific reasons, the refund will be made as soon as possible.
9. In case of purchase of any product from the outlet, it is specially requested to activate the device by un-boxing the product (body camera/display of the device) or checking whether there are any defects or scratches on its packaging. Asked to make a video while un-boxing if necessary. Later no complaint regarding this will be entertained. If there is any defect in the product received through the courier, then to make a warranty claim, you must inform us within 24 hours of receiving it.
10. If purchasing the product via courier, an unboxing video of the device must be recorded so that it can be presented as evidence in the future in case of any defects. Any problem with the courier product must be reported on the day of receipt of the order, otherwise, warranty benefits will not be available.
11. If you want to make a warranty claim, you must personally appear at the outlet with the product box and invoice/bill or send it through courier. No warranty claim will be accepted after the expiry of the warranty period.
12. If there is any external damage to the product or if the box of the product is damaged, the product will not be accepted for warranty claim. In case of a warranty claim for the product, the customers must give time to Apple Gadgets. And within that period, the customer can make a warranty claim for his product. No immediate product replacement or repair will be provided.
13. 7 to 14 working days will be required if the official product warranty claim is made through Sardar Tech. In some cases, this period may be exceeded.
Reasons for which the product will not be covered by warranty:
1. Products without purchase receipts, bills, invoices, or any proof of purchase will not be covered under warranty.
2. If any part of the product is burnt, or broken, any part is sitting, tampering, layer cutting, rusting, rotting, fungus, cracks in any port, or cracks like cracks are found, it will not be covered under warranty.
3. The product will not be covered under warranty if the sticker or serial number is removed or found to be illegible.
4. In the case of laptops, or computer the warranty on batteries, chargers, and other accessories is not more than 1 year and is not included in the original product warranty.
5. The product will not be covered by the warranty if it is found that the lock or hook has been broken or an attempt has been made to open it.
6. The product will not be covered under warranty if scratches or blemishes are found on the screen.
7. Any part of the product found damaged or destroyed by insects will not be covered under warranty.
8. Any spherical or crescent-shaped damage detected on the product screen due to impact will not be covered under warranty.
9. Any damage to the product due to the use of liquids or liquid entering the product will not be covered by the warranty.
10. Any damage caused by misuse of the product will not be covered under warranty.
11. In case of any fragile product, eg monitor, glass casing, etc., the box must be provided with the product in case of a warranty claim.
12. If there is a product that has no serial on it but a serial on the box, such as headphones, earphones, smart watches, cables, etc., the box is required for a product warranty.
13. If any product is attempted to be repaired by the buyer himself or by an unauthorized agency, the warranty will be void.
14. 10 Days Warranty (excluding display touch issue) is applicable only for these devices: Smartphone / Tab / MacBook Due to epidemics and flight complications, warranty claims may take up to 3 to 45 working days.
15. The active / Inactive status of the device must be verified before purchase. No, later objection in this regard is admissible.
16. Get 1 (one) year free service warranty for a Smartphone / Tab / MacBook (Parts / Hardware excluded). In case of hardware issues and problems with the motherboard, the cost of parts will be borne. Service Charge (Parts Installation Charge) Sardar Tech will carry.
17. Software/security update issues like Over-Heating Battery Draining, Battery Health Decreasing, and Device Lagging the product will not be covered by warranty.
18. 3 days warranty is applicable for non-warranty products only. (Excluding product display touch issue, liquid damage, physical damage, and product box damage)
19. Non-Warranty products include Smart Watch, AirPods, Power Adapter, Cable, Bluetooth Speaker, and other accessories.
20. It is mandatory to keep the box and warranty sticker in case of a warranty claim for Accessories (Smart Watch AirPods Power Adapter, Cable, Bluetooth Speaker, etc.) with Official Warranty. In this case, it may take up to 14 to 21 working days.
21. 10 days warranty is applicable for Apple/Samsung Watch, AirPods, Mouse, and Keyboard. (excluding display/touch issues, liquid damage, physical damage, and product box damage)
22. Special Note: The following terms and conditions apply to both devices and accessories. Products sold are non-refundable.
23. With each of our laptops, you get a 15-day product replacement guarantee and a five-year free service warranty excluding parts. While buying a laptop, you must check the display, keyboard, Body, and USB port of the laptop. These will have a check warranty only.
Life Time Warranty Policy:
A lifetime warranty shall mean a warranty on the product for as long as it is considered to be a marketable product. If a product is covered by a lifetime warranty, if the product is a common product in the market, the customer will receive warranty service. If a product is considered as EOL (End Of Life) i.e. if the production of the product is stopped then it will no longer be covered under warranty. When the new version of the product is released in the market, it will not get warranty service with the old version.
Service Warranty Policy:
No additional cost will be charged for repairing any product covered by the service warranty if it is within the warranty limit, but if any parts need to be changed or added, the cost of those parts will be paid by the buyer.
